M-Pesa Transaction Charges 2024 (Updated): M-Pesa Withdrawal charges, transfer, and so on

Most people had a challenging year in 2020 due to the global crisis known as COVID-19. The cushioning provided by governments and corporations was perhaps the saving grace or silver lining throughout the crisis.

In Kenya, VAT was reduced from 16 percent to 14 percent, and companies such as Safaricom, Airtel Kenya, and others came out to offer discounts on their services.

Things are starting to calm down, and these temporary measures are being phased out one by one. As a result, Safaricom is considering giving its M-PESA customers a reprieve in the future.

The company recently announced new M-PESA fees and tariffs, which will go into effect on January 1, 2021. These articles show you everything that has changed with the M-Pesa transaction charges, including withdrawal and transfer charges.

Without further ado, Let’s dive in.
